எமது வரலாறு மற்றும் நோக்கம்

எமது வடக்கு மற்றும் கிழக்கிற்கான இலங்கை பார்வையற்றோருக்கான அறக்கட்டளை நிலையம் நீண்ட கால யுத்த சூழலினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட எமது மக்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்குடன் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது. முப்பது வருடங்களுக்கு மேலான யுத்தம் காரணமாக எமது பிரதேசங்களில் பார்வை இழப்பு வீதமானது இலங்கையின் ஏனைய பகுதிகளுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் மிக உயர்வாகக் காணப்படுகிறது.

எமது பிரதான நோக்கம் வீடுகளில் முடங்கிக் கிடக்கும் பார்வையற்றோரை அடையாளம் கண்டு, அவர்களைச் சமூகமயப்படுத்துவதாகும். அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான பயிற்சிகள், உளவியல் ஆலோசனைகள் மற்றும் வாழ்வாதார உதவிகளை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் அவர்களைச் சுயமாக வாழ வைப்பதில் நாம் உறுதியாக இருக்கின்றோம்.

Founded with a deep commitment to the Northern and Eastern provinces, our foundation addresses the unique challenges faced by the visually impaired community in post-conflict regions. With statistics showing a disproportionately high rate of blindness due to the 30-year war, our mission centers on extracting individuals from isolation and empowering them with the tools for independence.
